ABOUT 'PET-A-POOCH'

The Pet-A-Pooch experience is not only a treat for humans but also a fantastic opportunity for dogs to thrive socially. Dogs benefit greatly from interacting with a variety of people in a controlled, positive environment, helping them build confidence, reduce anxiety, and enhance their socialisation skills. For humans, spending 45 minutes cuddling and interacting with friendly, well-loved dogs provides a therapeutic escape, reducing stress, boosting mood, and even lowering blood pressure. This mutually beneficial experience strengthens the bond between dogs and people while creating a safe space for both to connect, relax, and share joy.

HOUSE RULES FOR VISITORS
All participating dogs must be registered with our daycare. Owners must consent to their dogs taking part and as a visitor attending a session, please refrain from bringing your own dog. Try to arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment so there is time to get comfortable before your session starts. If you are going to be late please try to let us know as soon as possible.

Please bear in mind that each session usually has between 4 to 8 people attending.
We start each session on the hour and if you are late arriving you may miss out on your full session.
Please refrain from picking up the dogs and do not give them any treats unless they're provided by one of our team as some of our dogs have allergies/sensitivities to certain foods.

If for any reason you wish to leave the session, please ask a member of staff to open the gate for you but, for the safety of the dogs, please refrain from opening the gate yourself.

Thank you!
